Really lovely cafe, I come quite a lot for tea and cake. Lots of seating both inside and outside. I did come recently for a roast lunch the food was lovely but I felt like we could’ve had a bit more meat for the price of it. Apart from that love this place. I would recommend. Lovely spot to have a coffee and cake. The views overlooking the palace are great and if you are lucky, and in the right season, you will see croquet being played on the lawn.

What a beautiful coffee stop! After a nice walk around the city and nearby woodland, stopped in here for a delicious walnut and coffee cake. Coffee is great quality. Very good Dog friendly inside too.

Lovely staff Lovely coffee Great cake.

Best salad I’ve had for a long time

Lovely place. Long time waiting for chips and a sandwich. Lovely staff, one that whistled non stop! Fabulous views outside

Loved the brownies and Victoria sponge cake. Great with a cup of tea. Worth a stop!

The Bishops Table set in the grounds of the Bishops Palace and Gardens is worthy of a stop. A good selection of food and drink and is dog friendly inside and outside. The vegan roll and Cornish pasty were just the right temperature to be eaten hot. The staff were nice. Would eat here again.
